CAPCA Listserv Information

CAPCA's listservs are designed to facilitate discussions regarding legislative and policy issues of special interest to Californians. They usually involve low volume, except during legislative season. National special education issues will also be included as they relate to California. To join, send an email to  capcamember@gmail.com with: Your connection to disability issues (parent or extended family member; professional; attorney, etc.) Your name Your e-mail address you would like to use for membership Your street address One or more phone numbers. If you work in an area related to disability issues, please let us know your occupation and the agency for which you work. Your child's disability, if applicable Special Note For Attorneys: Please include your Bar Number and the information of the law office where you are employed. CAPCA Listserv Rules and Acceptable Use Privacy Policies Please read the following Listserv rules and acceptable use policy which apply to CAPCAWEB and CAPCALAW. By subscribing to and receiving any CAPCA email list, including having access to listserv posts through email and the archives, you acknowledge and agree to the following rules and acceptable use policies. Address questions about the rules or list to CAPCAmember@gmail.com, not to the list. The Purpose of the CAPCA Listservs is to share information that will improve the climate in California with respect to services and supports for children with special needs. As such, it is critical that the members of the Listservs feel comfortable about exchanging information without fear of that same information being used in any way other than to further the interests of the special needs community in California.
