View files on the listserv

To view files located on the listserv :  If you have not already done so, create a Google account (step 1 and 2). If you have a Google account, skip to step 3. Most of you signed up with a Google account when you joined the listserv.  Step 1:  Create a Google account- this is free. Make sure you open the Google account with the email address you used for the listserv. You can create a Google account here:  https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount   Step 2 :  To the email address you entered in step one you will receive a confirmation email that you want a Google account. How to change my email address for the listserv Due to the protection and privacy policy of the CAPCA Listserv this can only be done by CAPCA. Please send an email to capcamember@gmail.com  indicating  which list you are a member of (CAPCA LAW or CAPCA WEB) the email address you currently use for the listserv the email address you would like to use  why you need to change (left previous firm, new law firm, using new email address, etc) Please note it can take up to a week for the change to take place

How to change your email settings:  Often times members can become overwhelmed at the number of emails they receive from CAPCA. DOE Survey

Dear California Families, On September 27, the U.S. Department of Education will be visiting the California Department of Education, Special Programs Division, to look at California's compliance with IDEA Parts B and C.  The U.S. Dept. of Education has asked us to survey parents about their experiences and knowledge of special education in California. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to provide input and a great opportunity to contribute to improving the system for children in California. About taking the survey: --  If you have more than one child, you can do a survey for each child. -- Spouses and family members can also complete the survey. -- Skip questions you are not sure about. -- The information is ANONYMOUS.
